i just love the view outside my window... you don't need to travel miles or take a flight to see mountains and rivers...

Steps to preparing a bento... 1. make the food.

In this case, i prepared french toast using danish sweet bread and cheap eggs. I also fried chicken sticks and put some raw cabbage for a balanced diet.

2. Put the cover on.

3. Put the bento and fork into the nice bag i got from shopping for a belt. Lowry's Farm. Voila! the bento is done!

Normally i cook rice, but today decided to try something different. You know what, in the end, guixiang didn't make bento today ( a miracle ) cos' she couldn't wake up. So i was so tempted to eat at little mermaid's again, i didn't have my bento :S and i had too much bread at little mermaid cos' they had free flow of bread. It was a friday.

After that, tt night we went for Gracie's pizza (above SHIPS) it was great. Love the carbonara pizza. It had egg on top! It was fun! we expanded into a group of 7. They also had a free flow of drinks and the place opened until 2 am. so we stayed till 1 am to chat.

It was fun. I finally got to talk with Yoo Jin, my neighbour. She is super rich! her parents wanted to get her a BMW, and wanted to ship it to Japan from the states! I can't believe it!!! She also wanted to move to an apartment which is 90000yen a month!!! she is too rich! hope by the time i come back from golden week she has a car already so she can drive us to travel ;)

Just now, i went out to meet connie, levi's friend, who wanted to practise a few chinese phrases before going to shanghai to travel. She's cool. She's a canadian who has been in hiroshima for 6 years now... she loves her life here. She changed my perspective about hiroshima. I have been hearing too much negative stuff about hiroshima, about how boring it is... and i just agreed with everybody else blindly. But actually, unaware of it, i love hiroshima. I love the peace, quiet, and the scenery. We went to a cafe to chat, and then after that went to another cafe for lunch, and thereafter shopped a while, ( i got a super cheap bag!!!) only 525 yen! i'm quite lucky in this kinda stufff.

and after our shopping, we went to a cafe again to chat. lol even though she has been here for 6 years, her japanese is not as good. And her japanese only got better cos' she got herself a japanese boyfriend who couldn't speak english at all... and her boyfriend is a semi-pro baseball player. A pitcher, infact. Cool~~~

It's really nice to talk to different kinda people... yea... she said that we should meet up again... so i'm looking forward to it ;) i have japanese lesson at 10 tomorrow, so shd prob wake up early. so じゃ :S btw these few days i have nothing to do and i'm so tired of *acting* busy and i can't chat:S so sian...

Last Friday i went for a buffet dinner... At the same place in pacela, for the third time~~~, and i still don't know where the place is called. So I went to have a couple of drinks with colleagues and new found friends at the shack and after which we went to the g-spot for karaoke...

then we saw one black strangling another (for fun?) cos' the other guy didn't put up any resistance at all! thereafter, we got freaked out and we left for another bar which has salsa dancing. I tried to learn but gave up ;) not interested in dancing anyways.

Last Saturday I went to HIC and they had a celebration!!! i made a gun, which you can put rubber bands in as your ammo and shoot! i shot something and here's my prize!

And we made little Japanese dolls... The festival is Hina Matsuuri. It's a day for girls. There will be lots of Japanese dolls. and colleagues even gave us girls food for matsuuri! It was okada-san's bdae and we bought her a Hina Matsuuri cake by mistake!

Here's the doll i made. Some westerners are really open. Levi asked me if i would want to teach him chinese in his apartment and also whether i wana watch anime in his apartment and he would translate for me cos' i said i wanted to watch. But its so dangerous, even if he didn't mean any harm. Saki, my japanese 18 year old teacher, also met a spanish guy who asked he to teach him japanese in his apartment.??!! will western girls think that its safe?

Anyway, yamaguchi san promised to bring us to chinese dim sum buffet and we're having another chinese buffet at the end of the month. We went for Korean BBQ this friday and they wanted to enter me into an all-you-can-eat competition!!! :S they say i eat too much! and that i don't grow fat, well, i do~~~ they even said that they didn't mind being my manager and fly me to michigan to enter the competition! they were apalled... :S by how much i eat...

Well, we're also supposed to catch a baseball game on 13th April, one day after my BDae;) hope it'll be fun. Saki and me both love suzuki ichiro, the cool cool cool baseball player. My gosh... *blush* and the weather is back to being so cold i can hardly stand it at all... :S

Well, the flowers are starting to bloom though. Hope springtime comes soon. Gotta start planning for travel. ;)

hey hey~ i havent been updatin for a long time.. ive finally found a company for my io! thank goodness. gotta work on alternate sats but it's not too far fr my place so it's still ok.
